Poornima Wijendra was born in Sri Lanka and began her fashion career across Sri Lanka and New York, collaborating with global teams for nearly twenty years in the fast-paced, glamorous world of international lingerie and lifestyle apparel design. Her later move to Scandinavia broadened her aesthetic sensibilities and deepened her understanding of how culture shapes emotion.

Poornima believes that every human being has a unique brilliance, a special gift they are here to offer the world. For over two decades, she has studied ancient wisdom and modern mind sciences to understand what brings true happiness and, how people can live their most authentic and fulfilling lives.

A multidisciplinary artist, she now lives in Germany with her husband, Layan, and welcomes readers at poornimawijendra. where her own twist on Swedish Fika includes a mug of steaming Ceylon chai, never too far away.
